Pronunciation Review/Practice

The Days of the Week

Remember from Spanish 1 that when you want to talk about a future action you can use the verb IR + A + an infinitive. Using "ir" in the present tense in this formula indicates the near future [el futuro cercano].

Review 1: La Fórmula Gramatical

Recall the formula used to convey a future time.

Recall the forms of the verb "ir". Notice in this formula, all are followed by an "a".

Los Verbos Infinitivos. The verbs below are a review from Spanish I. If you do not know what each means in English, look them up in a dictionary. Know their meaning before you move on. You will be responsible for these words on quizzes and test for this module for the final exam.-Ir verbs equal sentir, seguir, reir, sufrir, vivir, -ar verbs equal encontrar, empezar escuchar, mirar llorar, limpiar, bailar, gozar, llegar, soñar, olvidar, -er verbs equal vencer, entender, doler
