Module Wrap-up
Review
In studying for the test, especially the multiple choice, a few strategies should be employed. Look over the information in this module. Especially go back and review the questions that you answered in Key Concepts that related to the information and readings found there. In addition, many of the test questions relate to items described in the key terms for the module found on the introduction page.
Use these two memory aids to help you remember some key elements of the Industrial Revolution. The first phase of the Industrial Revolution took place in the early 19th Century before the Civil War. The second phase, which we studied in this module, is the larger phase and took place in the late 19th Century and into the early 20th Century.

For the short answer portion of the test, be familiar with these two topics, as you will be asked a question relating to one of them.
- The unequal distribution of wealth in terms of the controversy over the issue and how the poor should be helped (ties in to the Social Gospel and Social Darwinism).
- Know some of the issues that were brought to the forefront by the Populists and the controversy relating to them.
