RDE: Gramática Review Lesson - Los Adverbios y Las Comparaciones

Los Adverbios y Las Comparaciones

If you need to describe the direction something is moving in, or to indicate the frequency, fashion, speed, intensity or perspective of something, you probably need an adverb. For example:

  • Mi abuela camina lentamente.
    • My grandma walks slowly.
  • El estudiante teminó el examen rápidamente.
    • The student finished the exam quickly.

You will also use an adverb if you want to describe where something is. For example:

  • El teatro principal está allá.
    • The theater is over there.
