While studying this unit, we invite you to take a break and watch a good Spanish-language film. Additionally, put on some Spanish-language music in the background while you work and play. Listening to authentic Spanish, in movies and songs, is a great way to build you listening skills - to develop "an ear" for Spanish.

Documents to Help

Below you will find two documents to help you get started in watching Spanish-language films. Use this list to see our suggestions, but also feel free to search out additional options. For films, be sure to ask your parent/guardian if a particular movie is appropriate for you - the suggestions in this list are all what we would consider "school appropriate" but not everyone agrees on exactly what that means, so be sure to have that conversation before watching!
