Sobre Maná (About Maná)

Maná's song ¿dónde jugarán los niños? is a perfect soul mate in this study module to Victor Cauduro Rojas' haunting paintings of the environment. Through songs and paintings each artist encourages global stewardship and environmental awareness with the ultimate goal of achieving a sustainable future for all people. Maná's global environmental activism has been a driving force in their albums and concerts. In 1995 Maná founded Fundación Selva Negra which promotes environmental issues and challenges all of us to care for our planet Earth. Maná, which means "good energy" in Polynesian, also actively promotes women's and human rights as well as the environment.
