REG: Review Lesson - Los Números

Los Números

Spanish numbers are based on Arabic numerals (0-9), just as in English. Therefore, although they have some "peculiarities", like gender and apocopation, they are relatively easy to learn. The Arabic numerical system, incidentally, was introduced to Europe by Spanish and Portuguese Jesuits. Numbers are a great place to start vocabulary review; they come up in conversation often, and it is really easy to get the hang of them.

The resources in this page will teach you how to write the cardinal numbers in Spanish and, more importantly, how to use them correctly.
