Communicating in a language is much more than knowing grammar. Grammar, though, is important in ensuring that you communicate meaning that is accessible and understandable to your audience.

Before continuing in the course, review the following concepts carefully:

• The difference between the three types of pronominal verbs:
  • reflexive verbs
  • reciprocal verbs
  • idiomatic pronominal verbs
• Conjugating pronominal verbs in the:
  • present tense
  • present perfect tense (passé composé)
  • imperative
  • pluperfect (plus-que-parfait)
  • conditional past
