Introduction - Demonstrative pronouns replace a specific nou that was previously mentioned. Remember that French requires many things to agree in gender and number - the same holds true for demonstrative pronouns. If you do not know the gender of the word, learn it! Otherwise, you may be using the wrong demonstrative pronoun.

Explication - When you think about demonstrative pronouns, think about this one or that one in the singular form and these, those, and those ones in the plural form. You use demonstrative pronouns to avoid repeating the noun about which you are speaking. Look at the chart below. Listen to the pronunciation and practice saying each form.
