Grammar Review (Particles) and Katakana - h (ハヒフヘホ)

Particle Review
Read the particle information below, then complete the review activity. Remember, mastering particles is an important step to mastering Japanese.
Review the following particles and their functions:
- ni: indicating the result of deciding or choosing (with shimasu) (L. 32)
- Ex) Piza-ni shimasu. [I'll have pizza.]
- ni: indicating the result of a course of events, a change (L. 35)
- Ex) Moo sugu 16-sai-ni narimasu. [I will be/become 16 years old soon.]
- ni: indicating the time or occasion when an action or process occurs ( L. 38)
- Ex) O-shoogatsu-ni nani-o tabemasu-ka? [What do you eat on New Year's?]
- ga: indicating the item which one desires (L. 38)
- Ex) Yoofuku-ga hoshii desu. [I want clothes.]
- ni: indicating the place or purpose of going, the direction of movement (L. 40)
- Ex) Gakkoo-ni ikimasu. [I will go to school.] (go to a place)
- Ex) Sukii-ni ikimasu. [I will go skiing.] (go to do an activity)
- to: indicating the person one does something with (L. 41)
- Ex) Toshio-kun-to ikimasu. [I will go with Toshio.]
