Schedules

You have probably figured that things are night and day different in Japan from America. Well, they literally are. When you are awake, the people in Japan are asleep; when they are awake, you are asleep. In this module, you will learn to tell time based on the location so you will not be calling your Japanese friends at 2 o'clock in the morning.

Essential Questions:

  • How do you ask what time someone gets up or go to sleep?
  • How do you ask what time someone eats meals?
  • What is the time difference between Japan and U.S.?
  • When do you use Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji in Japanese writing system?
