In this unit you will learn the basic vocabulary for identifying some of the most common food items in German. You will also discover more about Germany's rich treasure of fairy tales and the most famous fairy tale authors in Germany, the Brother's Grimm. Additionally, you will become familiar with the most common vocabulary used in a restaurant setting. You will discover how to read a menu in German and learn many important phrases for use when dining out in a restaurant in Germany. You will learn how to describe food in German and be able to express likes or dislikes with menu items. You will learn vocabulary for toasting and for paying your bill at a restaurant.
