Listening Assessment Instructions

Below are the audio files that you will listen to so that you can take La quête de soi - Listening Assessment. The content of these audio files comes directly from the material of this module. There are no surprises. It all comes directly from what you should have previously learned. Language learning is a cumulative process.

To complete this listening assessment you will:

  1. Listen to the two audio files below
  2. Take extensive notes on what you hear
  3. Use the notes when completing the assessment

The audio files below are not accompanied with text. Thus, you should take notes while listening to the audio files. Think about the following questions as you listen and note the answers to these questions on a piece of paper.

  1. Who is talking? Does this person state his or her age?
  2. Where is this person from? What additional information is provided about this person's origins?
  3. What details are provided about where this person lives?
  4. What does this person say about his or her family? What details are provided?
  5. What does this person like to do?
  6. What adjectives are used to describe the person?
  7. How tall is the person?
  8. Where is the person's family from?
  9. Is the person athletic?
  10. What does the person want to become professionally?
