Listening Comprehension Practice
Que faire ? - Below are listening comprehension activities that will help you measure how well you understand spoken French. Remember that you should be listening to all audio provided in this course over again, repeating what you hear. Listening comprehension is one of the toughest skills to acquire in a foreign language. You can't learn to understand spoken language if you are not listening to it repeatedly.
It is good practice to listen to audio provided and to cross-reference the audio with the accompanying text provided. The audio files below are not accompanied with text. Thus, you should take notes while listening to the audio files. Think about the following questions as you listen and note the answers to these questions on a piece of paper.
- Who is talking? Does this person state his or her age?
- Where is this person from? What additional information is provided about this person's origins?
- What details are provided about where this person lives?
- What does this person say about his or her family? What details are provided?
- What does this person like to do?
