ROM: Overview - Decimus' Journey
Overview - Decimus' Journey
Once he has recovered, Decimus makes the journey from the port city of Misenum to Rome. His first assignment is to report to the camp of the Praetorian Guard. There, Decimus serves as a soldier in the private guard of the Emperor Titus.
He has many duties in the city: protecting the emperor and the imperial palace, ensuring public safety, providing crown control at public events and assisting night watchmen by patrolling the city. Decimus finds being a praetorian guard to be a rewarding and honorable duty.
