CEN: Overview - Decimus' Journey

The image shows a Roman dinner party.

Overview - Decimus' Journey

Decimus receives an invitation to a banquet party. Flavia's friends, Gaius Saturninus and Cassia, are hosting a grand dinner party at their home, the Villa Fauni - the House of the Faun.

At the party, Decimus will experience a traditional Roman dinner. All of the courses are presented with care: the gustatio et prima mensa et secunda mensa. What sorts of dishes will Decimus enjoy? Decimus and the other guests enjoy entertainment, as well, including a recitation of poetry and a musical performance. What other entertainment might Decimus be able to see?

But still, the main question on Decimus' mind remains: will Flavia attend?
