Nota bene:

  • 1st declension has no neuter forms.
  • *2nd declension masculine nouns will have only one of these three endings for their nominative singular; -us is the most common. Check your Domina Vocabulary Handout Links to an external site. to see the appropriate Nominative singular ending for each 2nd declension masculine noun.
  • **There is no set Nominative singular ending for 3rd declension nominative singular, but it varies from noun to noun. Check your noun list to see the appropriate Nominative singular ending for each 3rd declension noun.
