CWR - The Reconstruction Amendments (Lesson)
The Reconstruction Amendments
The Reconstruction Amendments are collectively, the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the United States Constitution and they represent the official end to slavery and the establishment of citizenship for former enslaved people. While inequality persisted in our nation for many years, these amendments are the foundation for anti-discrimination laws today.o you believe the people of the United States were correct in their belief that we as a nation were “destined” to expand our territory to include the entire continent?
