Introduction

You bought your first car! Excellent! Now, it’s time to figure out and calculate the costs that go along with owning a car. Wait, what? There’s MORE costs that go into owning a car?

After you fill up on gas your first time, you’ll probably realize that there are a lot of extra expenses that you should be aware of and prepared for. Gas is definitely the biggest and most frequent expenditure when owning a vehicle. Let’s take a look at the fuel economy and efficiency of automobiles as well as some other important car-owner issues like depreciation. 

Fuel Efficiency

Purchasing gas for your vehicle may be the highest variable cost of owning a car. Since it’s a variable cost, we want to make sure we are doing everything we can to keep this cost low. Depreciation

A car loses its value over time due to normal wear and tear. If you buy your car for one price, chances are you won’t be able to sell it for that same price even if it’s only a year later!
