Employability skills are often sought above technical skills. Employers can train a prospective employee with the technical skills needed for a job; however, employability skills are skills employees are expected to have coming in. Employability skills are the foundation necessary in becoming an effective employee. Having a marketable skill set will give you stronger assurance of success on a job.
