That is the motto of the Technology Student Association.

Technology Student Association (TSA), is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in technical education and engineering classes in high school and middle school.

What is TSA?

Student organizations, such as Future Farmers of American (FFA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), and Technology Student Association (TSA), are co-curricular organizations which give students the opportunity to learn leadership skills and compete in a variety of competitions.

Takeaway

Georgia TSA Tidbit:

The first state conference was the Georgia Association of Industrial Arts Club (GAIAC) and was held at the FFA/FHA camp in Covington, GA. In those days, the Industrial Arts class was segregated for boys only. Girls were only able to take Home Economics, so the only female participation was via an honorary position called a “Club Sweetheart”. The Newton County Future Homemakers of America (FHA) club brought girls to the camp for the dance.

At that time, the GAIAC Motto was: “Pride in Progress”. Progress they eventually did.

Females have now been in TSA leadership positions for very many years. Besides leadership at GaTSA, females hold leadership positions as National TSA officers and many women are advisors on the Board of Directors of both Georgia TSA and National TSA.
