EPR - Review of Elements and Principles of Art Lesson
Review of Elements and Principles of Art Lesson
Introduction
The Elements and Principles of Art are terms that are taught in most art classes at all levels. We want to take these terms beyond their mere definitions so we can apply them to our art. Understanding how to appropriately use these terms with intention can elevate your work to the next level.
Whether you are drawing a still life, portrait, or designing an art journal page, developing compositions with the Principles and purposefully using the Elements will set your work apart. Strong compositions draw viewers into the work and make a greater impact than ones that do not use Elements and Principles appropriately.
