WCR - Writing, Critiquing, and Revising (Module Overview)
Writing, Critiquing, and Revising
Introduction
“People won't see Imagination in something that doesn't relate to their experience because of their own mental limitations. I want people to escape the expected and ordinary, to escape the regular expectations of a story, and truly step into a different world of literature.” - Lionel Suggs
Now that we’ve looked at elements, structures, and rules you are free to use them and experiment. The next phase of this process is about writing your story. No matter what the story is about, it is through your lens. This module will look at planning methods, collaborative techniques and a formal way to film a staged reading of your completed work.
“And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.” - Sylvia Plath
