Sol - Solubility (Lesson)
Solubility
Introduction
In this lesson we will discuss solubility. Solubility describes the ability of a substance to dissolve in a solvent. You will need the following solubility graph to complete the practice problems in this lesson, as well as problems on quizzes and test within this module.
Solubility, Insolubility, and Saturated Solutions
In this segment of Chemistry Matters, the students learn about solubility, insolubility, and saturated solutions. They interpret the data they compiled during the lab on dissolving salts. In the classroom, the teacher tests several solutions, and they discuss the nature of chemical solutions.
You will not be required to complete the electrolyte solution demonstration.
