S - Combustion Lab (Lesson)
Combustion Lab
Introduction
This final lesson in the module will walk you through the Combustion Lab found in the Chemistry Matters series. Use the videos to guide you through the lab by taking data based on the students’ experiment. You will be expected to submit a formal lab report from the Combustion Lab at the end of this lesson.
Combustion Lab Exploration
In this segment of Chemistry Matters, produced by GPB, the students discuss the ratios they have calculated in a rocket combustion lab. Use the note taking guide to brainstorm ways to collect data in the combustion lab experiment. The data table that you decide to use will be displayed in the results section of your lab report.
