BCF - Intramolecular Bonds (Lesson)
Intramolecular Bonds
Introduction
Intramolecular bonds are defined as bonds that occur within molecules and compounds. There are various types of intramolecular bonds that are determined by the elements that make up a compound. In this lesson, we will examine the various types of intramolecular bonds and the process for identifying each.
Creating Your Own Bonds
Intramolecular bonds are discussed in this segment of Chemistry Matters, and the students create their own bonds using a software simulator. You will not be required to simulate the molecules on your own, pay close attention to the simulation utilized by the students in the video.
