Lab Safety Equipment

Introduction

During this course, you will be required to perform various virtual labs and at home investigations. Even though these labs are risk free, it is important to familiarize yourself with common lab safety practices. A review of lab equipment will also be presented in this module to prepare you for the lab terminology used in virtual labs. You will be required to pass the lab safety quiz with a 100% prior to completing the labs in chemistry. The following resources will assist you in your investigation of chemistry laboratory safety.

• Long Hair should be pulled back
• Wear a lab apron to protect clothing
• Locate Eye Wash Station and Safety Shower prior to beginning experiment.
