Introduction

Knowing what tools to use and how to use them effectively and efficiently is important for any task. You would know better than using a golf cart on I-75 in downtown Atlanta traffic, just because it’s a mode of transportation, right?

For the same reason, you need to know what tools to use and how, in order to obtain useful data for your research and meet your research goals. For example, if you need to create a business report on economic trends in a certain geographic area, you would know better than to just rely on social media to obtain that information. You would review reputable business journals and other relevant sources of information.
