Introduction

Let’s go back to our bakery business example. We have a spreadsheet containing all of your baked goods and their sales over the past week. As you are planning your business operations for the upcoming week, you would like to know at a glance which items are your best sellers and which ones are not doing so well. Yes, you can look through your numbers and highlight products that have sold well and not so well. However, that would take time. Excel can do this for you instantly, saving lots of time and effort!

This lesson contains an overview of analyzing and organizing Excel data, such as conditional formatting and data sorting.

It may be difficult to remember all conditional formatting and data sorting options, so here is a summary video, using another business example. Hint, hint – a great review for your graded assessments in this module!
