Did you know that spreadsheet software is an integral component of most businesses and organizations around the world? Why do companies use spreadsheet software, such as Excel, for daily business operations?
Here are three main functions of spreadsheet software:

Companies use spreadsheet software to analyze, store, and share business data sets, as well as create graphs and charts, to inform future business planning and decision-making processes. For example, let’s say you love making cookies and decide to open a bakery. The first thing you will need to do is develop a business plan, including projected expenditures (expenses) and revenues (sales), to determine if you will generate any profit. You can do this in spreadsheet software like Excel.
