CSBC - Business Documents and Technology Lesson
Business Documents and Technology Lesson
Introduction:
Documentation is extremely important for each company and organization as it tells the story of that business, such as its origins, vision and goals, and the journey it’s taking to achieve its ambitions. Moreover, documentation is a legal record of each business and required for compliance with various regulations. It is very important to properly maintain all business documentation, both written and digital.
For example, what would happen if there were no business contracts? Widespread chaos would probably ensue as contracts are legal documents stating the expectations of all parties involved as well as consequences for the breach (failure to fulfill) of contract. Contracts are legally enforceable in a court of law and, thus, used by companies, organizations, and individuals to safeguard their resources.
This lesson offers an overview of various business documents and technology used for communication.
