Let’s say you decide to open a daycare. What business operations would this type of business require?
- Location: You need a building. Maybe you can use your own home or rent/buy space.
- Equipment: You probably need a first aid kit. Maybe a baby bottle warmer, changing table, pack and plays, toys, kitchen equipment.....
- Labor: When you first open your daycare, you may be the only person working there. As your business grows, you may be able to hire more people.
- Process: Since young kids will be involved, you will need detailed procedures to make sure you are in compliance with various regulations and kids have a safe and comfortable environment. For example, you may have steps for arrival and check out playground rules, etc.
