Module Lessons Preview
In this module, we will study the following topics:
Presentation Software: Microsoft PowerPoint was often the first presentation software considered as individuals planned for presenting information to an audience. The field of options has increased to include categories of presentation programs that are free, proprietary-based, web-based, animated, and video-based.
Teamwork Makes the Message: The presentation audience is often made up of individuals from different backgrounds and cultures. Delivering an effective and respectable presentation can be achieved by seeking feedback from members of your school or work team before the message is expressed.
Target Audience, Time, and Topic: As a rising business leader, you will present information face-to-face, over the phone, electronically, and possibly online via a web meeting. Understanding the target audience, topic, and amount of time required to speak will assist in presentation success.
Penning the Presentation: After planning the presentation, a draft of presentation notes should be created. The draft should include your opening, message, and conclusion.
Constructing the Presentation: The planning and penning process is done and it is time to construct the presentation. What features do you use to make the presentation visually appealing so that your audience is impressed with your design and content?
