The Documentary
Introduction
Documentary is a broad term used to describe a non-fiction movie that in some way “documents” or captures reality, and is usually between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Usually, the film maker is inspired to bring attention to the topic or issue because they don’t feel it is covered well enough by the media. I am sure we can remember Morgan Spurlock’s, “Super-Size Me,” documentary about the fast food industry and the controversial aspects. This drew attention to the unhealthiness of our fast food industry and called for change. So, what does it take to make a documentary?

Review
It is not very likely that you would make a full documentary, but more a mini-documentary. The mini-documentary is shorter, but can be very powerful. Check out some of the mini-documentaries below:
