Whether you choose a personal device, beginner video camera, or a professional video camera you must understand the capabilities of your chosen camera. Remember, your video camera is how you make your story come alive for the world! Your video camera is powerful, but only if you truly understand how to use it. Regardless of the type of camera used in creating your media productions, it is essential you are familiar with each of the camera’s features and each one’s purpose so that you are able to convey your story to have the most impact on your audience.
