Fixed Do and Moveable Do Systems: Aural Skills

Sight Singing, Sight-Seeing, and Rhythmic Dictation

It is now time to begin studying for the sight-singing, sight-reading, and rhythmic dictation section for AP Music Theory. These skills should be practiced daily as they are skills that need much practice and time to develop. There are many outside websites that aid with sight-singing practice. The following are suggested websites. Each week, you should work on rhythmic dictation, singing major scales, and beginning melodic dictation.
