In the last module we collectively read Poisonwood Bible, which is becoming considered a last 20th century classic; however, the course writers selected this text and it may not be used for this module. Yet it’s richness as a text and level of complexity can serve as a good model for the types of texts you should explore as you complete the work for this module. All of the following were the post 1985 books listed on the 2017 administration of the AP Exam. Each of these works would be acceptable for a choice book for this module. By the end of this microlesson you will commit to a book.

Select one work written after 1985 and provide the basics about the text and what drew you to the text. This video will walk you through your task. Make sure that your volume is turned up.
