Socialization in Sports

Certainly, those who engage in sports in any way, shape, or form are partly socialized by the institution of sports and the people they engage with through sports. In sports, socialization refers to how individuals learn and internalize social norms, values, and behaviors through their involvement in sports activities. This includes learning both explicit and implicit rules, etiquette, and cultural practices associated with sports.

Promoting Teamwork and Cooperation
